America first discovered yoga when she was a long-distance runner in 2010. After running her first marathon, yoga helped complement her running and cured many ailments she had developed. America instantly fell in love with yoga, and it soon became a passion. America has been practicing yoga on a daily basis since 2010 from different lineages of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Restorative. This yoga journey inspired her to complete her 200-hour teacher certification in 2016, and also has her 200-hour Sankalpa Shakti certification. In addition, America has assisted in teaching several teacher trainings. Today, she is inspired to help others learn the benefits of a regular yoga practice.
