Krissy worked at this family farm after college. Located in Paso Robles, they run an exceptional operation, producing some of the highest quality olive oil in the USA. They grow mainly Tuscan style olive oil varietals which are known to be higher in polyphenols (the good antioxidants). Their olives are hand harvested and sent straight to the on site mill (inside the straw bale barn). They mill their olives within hours to produce an exceptional extra virgin olive oil. This is the only olive oil I use.
Cook’s Choice is an outstanding all-use olive oil. We cook with it, using it to sauté, roast, and fry at medium temperatures. And it’s also great for finishing everyday meals, including salads, soups, pasta and grain dishes. This is a medium intensity olive oil with green grassy aromatics and a peppery finish. Size: 500 ml.
