Inner Light: Winter Solstice Yoga Nidra + Sound Bath
December 19
7:30 - 8:45 pm
As the longest night of the year invites us into stillness, we gather to honor the turning of the light.
Join us for a Winter Solstice Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath—a soothing, restorative journey to tend your inner flame and remember the light that never fades.
Through the guided rest of Yoga Nidra, you’ll be gently led into deep relaxation and renewal. The experience continues with the healing resonance of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other soothing instruments during our sound bath. These vibrations invite your nervous system to soften, your energy to balance, and your heart to glow from within.
This sacred pause is a time to reflect, release, and realign with your inner light as we cross the threshold into a new season.
All are welcome, dress warm & bring a yoga mat, & your favorite blanket.

Art of Savasana
January 30th, 2026
7:30 - 8:15 pm
The Art of śavāsana
Savasana is not optional in a yoga practice, but it is an art. And how you approach savasana can have profound effects on your experience and overall yoga practice.
The point of savasana is to bring the body and mind into deep rest after an effortful practice in order to remove fatigue. But there is more than simply resting at play during savasana including but not limited to integration, practicing stillness, relaxing mind and body as we are given the opportunity to still the body and draw the senses inward.
Some of us look forward to savasana and others struggle with not just the idea of relaxing, lying on the floor with your eyes closed in a room full of people but the actual physical “effort” that goes toward relaxing and stillness. If you find yourself fidgeting or immediately turning to the mental to-do list, or if you know the benefits of mindful rest and want to know more, this is for you.
In this workshop we will dig into the deeper meanings and goals of savasana as well as explore different ways to position ourselves in order to feel free to let go.
We will start with some discussion, move into a 30 minute gentle asana practice and explore several postures and positions including the use of props to find the one or ones that bring you into full ease. This workshop will provide you with options to take savasana into your own hands at the end of your asana class. Empowering you to get the most out of that final pose.
I look forward to taking this restful journey inward.
