Holding Grief with Grace & Compassion
April 26, 2026

Holding Grief with Grace and Compassion with Amanda
Grief takes many forms, whether you are grieving a loss of a pet, a job, a home, or a loved one, we all experience this as human beings. It's a natural part of being a human, and we are here to support you during this time.
Grief can affect our physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual bodies when not welcomed with an open heart, which can be challenging. Gather together in community to explore the grief process with a compassionate heart.
This will be a sacred opportunity to move through the very real and raw grief journey held by the container of your beloved community. This will include, an intention setting followed by a short discussion on grief, a gentle movement practice (no yoga experience needed), journaling and more.
We are not here to fix grief. We are here to hold space for it, with compassion and presence. As we move into the holiday season, let's invite our grief in and move through it rather than block it. All are welcome.
Amanda is a dedicated member of Spiritual Heart Yoga Center, practicing with us for over 3 years. She's practiced yoga on and off throughout life, but SHYC has made her connection to the practice deeper and more beneficial. She cherishes sharing her journey with the community.
Bring a yoga mat & journal.
Mat rentals are $5.
