Your Path to Peaceful Sleep
November 9. 2025
2:00-3:30 PM
Your Path to Peaceful Sleep: Ease Anxiety, Relieve Insomnia, Restore Your Energy!
✨Workshop Description:
Does your head hit the pillow, but your mind just won’t turn off?
Do you wake up at 2am, wired but exhausted — only to drag through the next day foggy and drained?
You’re not alone — and your body isn’t failing you. It’s simply asking for support.
Anxiety, hormone shifts, gut issues, and daily pressures can hijack your nervous system, making it harder to rest. But restorative, peaceful sleep is possible when you learn how to work with your body, not against it.
Join us for this 90-minute workshop where you’ll uncover why your sleep feels off — and how to reclaim the deep rest your body craves, naturally.
From this workshop, you’ll walk away with:
🧠 A customizable sleep-care framework — practical steps that ease anxiety, balance digestion + hormones, and support deep rest.
🌿 Simple nervous system resets — tools to quiet racing thoughts and relax your body before bed.
🍵 Targeted sleep-supportive recipes — so you know what really supports better sleep and refreshed mornings.
📱 Solutions to modern sleep disruptors — how to counteract blue light, overstimulation, and late-night habits.
💫 Evening rituals that actually work — designed to calm your body, ease anxiety, and prepare you for restorative sleep.
This workshop is for you if you’re tired of quick fixes that don’t last, or waking up just as exhausted as when you went to bed.
✨ By the end, you’ll feel confident knowing exactly what your body needs for deep, restorative sleep — and you’ll leave with simple practices you can start using right away to wake clear-headed, calm, and energized again.
All are welcome—no prior knowledge of gut health is needed. Bring a journal, a pen, and your beautiful self.

Holding Grief with Grace & Compassion
November 14. 2025
7:30 - 8:30 pm
Holding Grief with Grace and Compassion with Amanda
Grief takes many forms, whether you are grieving a loss of a pet, a job, a home, or a loved one, we all experience this as human beings. It's a natural part of being a human, and we are here to support you during this time.
Grief can affect our physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual bodies when not welcomed with an open heart, which can be challenging. Gather together in community to explore the grief process with a compassionate heart.
This will be a sacred opportunity to move through the very real and raw grief journey held by the container of your beloved community. This will include, an intention setting followed by a short discussion on grief, a gentle movement practice (no yoga experience needed), journaling and more.
We are not here to fix grief. We are here to hold space for it, with compassion and presence. As we move into the holiday season, let's invite our grief in and move through it rather than block it. All are welcome.
Amanda is a dedicated member of Spiritual Heart Yoga Center, practicing with us for over 3 years. She's practiced yoga on and off throughout life, but SHYC has made her connection to the practice deeper and more beneficial. She cherishes sharing her journey with the community.
Bring a yoga mat & journal.
